PEACE Childcare Ltd

PEACE Childcare Ltd. supports parents/carers in balancing work, education, training and family commitments by providing out of school care during term-time, school holidays and in-service days for parents/carers who wish to remain in employment, continue further/higher education or take up training opportunities.

Our centres, based in Grange Campus, St Joseph’s Campus, Dunlop Village Hall, Gargieston, Loanhead and Onthank Primary Schools provide out of school care for children aged 4½ – 16 years of age.

The Sitter Service provides a quality service in the client’s home, operating between 6.30am and 10.30pm, 7 days a week, for children aged between 3 months and 16 years of age (19 years of age for young people with additional support needs still attending mainstream school).

Our qualified, experienced staff are all members of the PVG Scheme.

PEACE Childcare Ltd. is registered by the Care Inspectorate.

The Holiday Project

The Holiday Project provides quality, affordable, residential holidays and recreational facilities for the purpose of improving the quality of life for everyone, with priority given to residents of east Ayrshire. The project owns three caravans, one of which is adapted for disabled people. All caravans are sited at Sandylands Holiday Park, Saltcoats and are fully equipped. Our costs are substantially lower than that of commercial operators and are more affordable. Our savings scheme helps families plan and save for their holiday. Our holidays (week/weekend breaks) are available from April to October for single parents, families, senior citizens, carers, disabled people and organised community groups.

Subsidised holidays are available due to our partnerships with funders who can offer financial assistance (terms & conditions apply). Only available to residents of East Ayrshire and based around health and financial need.

Street League

Street League is a Sports for Employment Charity supporting young people aged 16-24 into employment, education and training through our bespoke employability programmes. Our aim is to see an end to youth unemployment using sport as the engagement tool to overcome personal barriers to move into a sustainable outcome.
