Would your organisation be interested in hosting one of the peer outreach workers for East Ayrshire’s Community Peer Outreach Services?
The organisations will employ people with a lived experience of substance use and mental health to provide an outreach service to assist vulnerable individuals access services, supporting them to overcome barriers to engagement.
The service will be provided to adults living in specific communities in East Ayrshire, who have been identified as facing multiple barriers when engaging with services as a result of their use of alcohol and/or drugs or other multiple and complex needs.
The service will focus on those communities where the need has been assessed as higher, these are:
• Dalmellington and Bellsbank
• Kilmarnock (North West)
• Kilmarnock (Shortlees)
• Cumnock
